In addition to developing 3D assets for this album, I was also involved in the motion design of the single(s) and album cover. Using assets that were provided to me, I then broke them into pieces and animated the individual elements to breathe life into the static imagery.

As a huge fan of Yussef Dayes, it was an honor to collaborate on the creation of visual marketing material for his now award winning project, Black Classical Music. I was tasked with the creation of several 3D and 2D visualizers that would accompany his new music throughout the rollout. The piece I am most proud of from this collection is a 3D recreation of his childhood room, which I constructed from a single physical photo he provided me. The piece was eventually outfitted with custom 3D recreations of his new merchandise and turned into an interactive shopping experience for his fans.
To increase the lifetime of these visuals,
I created variations on the original scenes by implementing different camera cuts, focal depths, and lighting set ups. I particularly enjoyed this part of the process as it was a chance to explore the concept of turning a singular small space into a much larger visual world.
One of the challenges faced during the creation of the merch landing page was figuring out how to create a unique shopping experience that still felt cohesive with the rest of the album roll out materials. My solution to embed the merchandise within the main scene as clickable objects gave the customers an innovative way to interact with the offerings while staying true to the visual world of the album.
